A look at the past months: Implementation of NetSuite at Dept
The past months have been an exciting time at Dept as we worked on the implementation of NetSuite. Now is the moment when all the efforts come together. In this blog, I'll give you a behind-the-scenes look and share the challenges and successes we have experienced during this project.
Building and system integration testing
Together with an amazing team, we worked hard on building the system. The project team focused primarily on delivering a functional system. My role was to look ahead and ensure the timely completion of the build, set up the training documentation, and conduct the training sessions.
Data migration and testing
With the completion of the build, we have a robust plan in place for data migration and how to document and follow up on the tests. Alongside the team, we are guiding the new NetSuite users through the testing process. This means testing almost 4,000 use cases in just one month, in preparation for the go-live in 11 countries. It's a challenging task, but with a great team, we are ready for the challenge.
After testing
phased roll-out Once we successfully complete the testing phase, we will move on to the next phase of the project: the phased roll-out. In a later stage, I will share more about this exciting phase, where we will gradually start using NetSuite.
Conclusion
The implementation of NetSuite at Dept has been an intensive process, but we have made significant progress. With a dedicated team and a clear plan, we are working towards a successful go-live in 11 countries. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project!
